Carl von Doussa

Carl Von Doussa is the founder and MD of Venture Sports Media, a UK based company developing content and fan engagement solutions for media groups and telcos, principally in sports. A corporate innovator, advisor and NED in building and transitioning business to new digital business models. He has a track record of bringing together a consortium of diverse partners creating start-ups or JV’s.

Carl has licensed premium sports rights including EPL, UFC,tennis majors, motorsports, WWE and action sports. He has also led or been instrumental in the creation of multiple start-ups, including direct-to-consumer offerings. He has a passion and proven track record in building profitable businesses that serve a mass market who could otherwise not afford the incumbents premium products.
He has led general management roles which includes COO and Executive Director at Abu Dhabi Media; COO and CFO of FlextechTelevision, ultimately becoming Virgin Media; management roles at Disney in the UK, Associated Newspapers; and numerous consultancies.

He launched the largest radio station in UAE, Radio MirchiUAE.

He trained as a Chartered Accountant with PwC, and is a Harvard Business School Alumni.
