Waleed Ibrahim Al Hosani is the Chief Executive Officer of Professional League Committee. He has managed to enhance the commercial results of the organization in short time since he took charge in November 2016.
Al Hosani has been instrumental in creating new revenue streams that will help UAEPL and clubs to move forward with financial sustainability.
Prior to taking up his current position, Al Hosani has worked at senior level in several top firms in the UAE. He served the Al Ain Club Investment company as the Director of Commercial Affairs for three years, where he achieved the club revenue streams of around 80 per cent.
He also worked as the Business Development Director at Al Qattara Investment Company, the owner and developer of HBZ Stadium and mixed-use project. In this capacity, Al Hosani oversaw the projects of the firm while identifying opportunities and conduct research to enhance the overall business. He also signed several key joint ventures and investments contracts to develop the firm’s business.
Between 2007 and 2013, Al Hosani worked as a credit control manager at Al Dar Properties where he managed the collection process of the company’s funds worth over AED 8 billion ($2.18 billion).
Before leaving Al Dar, he was assigned at the Integrated Management Office that oversaw the merger process of Al Dar and Sorouh, the biggest real estate’s developers in Abu Dhabi.
Al Hosani began his career in 1998 at the Finance Administration department of Abu Dhabi Police.
